Frank Dusek has been an arbitrator and mediator since 1999. Since that time, he has worked on numerous cases including ones involving complex commercial claims, accountants' legal liability, securities, construction, and contractual disputes. Initial arbitration claims to date total over one billion dollars ($1,000,000,000).

Mr. Dusek has over thirty-five years of accounting and financial dispute experience. He is a principal shareholder with the accounting firm of Weiss, Sugar, Dvorak & Dusek, Ltd. (since 1986) located in the historic Civic Opera Building in downtown Chicago. His past experience includes seven years with CPA and consulting firms such as Hurdman and Cranstoun (now KPMG), seven years as a CFO of a national specialty construction firm and the U.S. Army. In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant, Mr. Dusek is a Certified Fraud Examiner.

Mr. Dusek holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Masters of Business Administration from Roosevelt University.

Mr. Dusek is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Illinois CPA Society, The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, the American Arbitration Association and NASD Regulation, Inc., Board of Arbitrators. He is a member of the CPA Panel of the International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolutions and a Director and Fellow of the International Academy of Dispute Resolution.

Mr. Dusek’s publications include "An Independent Voice on the Board of Directors Can Be Very Beneficial," DODGE CONSTRUCTION NEWS, September 1993 and "Poor Accounting Records Equal Weak Financial Statements," DODGE CONSTRUCTION NEWS, September 1992. Mr. Dusek has spoken to various groups including the Institute of Internal Auditors, Illinois CPA Society, American Surety Association and American Subcontractors Association.
